Formed in 2021, the Skylarks U13 Performance Team at Appleton Netball Club, has grown into a dynamic and highly competitive squad, recognised for their skill, determination and exceptional team spirit. In just a few short years, they have established themselves as one of the strongest emerging teams in the region, consistently performing at the highest level across multiple leagues and tournaments.
Their dedication has translated into a series of impressive achievements. In 2024, Skylarks secured 2nd place in the Cheshire Junior Netball League and went on to win the SCI Tournament in Rhyl, marking a milestone season for the team. They continue to compete at a high standard across several regional leagues, including the Warrington Ball Hall Year 9/10 Division, the Greater Manchester Junior Netball League, and the Manchester Thunder League.
Most recently, the team earned a place in the Elite 8 Final of the Sisters in Sport Plate National Tournament, which will take place at Loughborough in June 2026—a significant achievement that highlights the squad’s increasing national profile.
